Sizing Durian

Durian comes in different sizes, and the size of the fruit affects the pricing. We offer various sizes of durian to cater to our customers' needs and preferences. The sizes we offer are as follows:

The box size can contain 6 pcs and 3kg each.

Grading Durian

Durian is graded based on its quality and consistency. At LCD Fruit, we offer two grades - Grade A and Grade B. Grade A durian is of the highest quality, with consistent flavor, texture, and color. Grade B durian may have some variations in texture, flavor, or color, but is still of good quality. Our grading process is done based on the following criteria:

Grade A - No visible cracks on the shell, consistent color, no visible bruises or soft spots, and consistent texture. Sizing 3-6 kg

Grade B - Minor cracks on the shell, slight variations in color, minor bruises or soft spots, and slight variations in texture. sizing or 6 kg

Type of Durian

There are various types of durian, but the most common ones exported are Monthong, Chanee, and Kanyao. Monthong is a popular variety, known for its rich, creamy, and sweet flavor. Chanee has a slightly firmer texture, and Kanyao is known for its soft texture and slightly bitter taste.

Durian Box Size and Packagin

When exporting durians, it is essential to use high-quality packaging to ensure the fruit arrives at its destination in good condition. Durians are usually packed in boxes, with each box holding around 10-15 fruits. The boxes should be made of sturdy cardboard, and the fruit should be individually wrapped in foam or netting to prevent bruising. The size of the box will depend on the size of the fruit and can vary from 20-30cm in length and 15-20cm in width and height.

Durian Paperwork

Exporting durians requires several documents, including a bill of lading, a packing list, and a certificate of origin. The certificate of origin verifies the country of origin of the fruit, while the packing list outlines the contents of each box. The bill of lading is a receipt issued by the shipping company that serves as proof of shipment.

Durian Payment Terms:

Payment terms for exporting durians can vary, but two of the most common options are T/T and LC at sight. T/T (Telegraphic Transfer) is a method of payment where the buyer transfers the payment to the seller's bank account. LC (Letter of Credit) is a financial instrument issued by a bank that guarantees payment to the seller as long as the terms and conditions of the agreement are met.

Durian Container Details

The containers used for shipping durians are typically refrigerated containers that can maintain a temperature of 5-7 degrees Celsius. The containers can hold around 10-12 pallets, with each pallet containing around 70 boxes of durians. It is important to clearly label each container with the contents and the destination to ensure the smooth and timely delivery of the fruit.

But for export 40 ft container could handle 18-17 tons of durian for durian safety. The box is standard box could handle 1050-1000 boxs
